Nope, the originals are long gone.
Hadn't thought about it being for a different function. Will double check tonight to see if there is another switch.

How about this one on Ebay at the moment? It appears to require 2 exterior hinges....
But the doors I have require the bottom post to enter a hole in the bottom of the door sill and the top to enter a hinge on the w/s frame.
I will get a couple of photos and measurements this pm. Also, one thing notable is that the doors have the "post" hinges that require a bracket...
I assume a twist latch. They are a handle on either side which appear to "latch" around a vertical rod.
