You use the stock wheel but you need to disassemble the motor to reverse the brushes. Your just reversing the motor input and output wires....
Unless you're going for a correct restoration I'd remove the stock heater and replace it with a Mojave heater....

You won't what? :confused: Use the AC? You could remove the AC and fit a Mojave heater, like used in a CJ. Then you could remove the under-hood box.
