I have a few minor questions.
First, have a 73 CJ5 with EZ Wire Harness and Everlasting Turn Signal (3 pin flasher).
    1. I have turn signals and hazaards perfect. Indicator on signal works all lights flash. However, when I have my park or running lights on none of the signals work front or rear?

    2. Volt meter works I have it wired to the ACC side of my switch so it shows perfect in ACC or Run position. However, my oil gauge needle reads as well, and it seems to tick intermittently from about mid way to nothing???? I have an electric sending unit to one terminal, ground to the other, and then I jumped the gauge power from the speedo cluster.

Ok, first ... maybe EZ-Wire can help you with the first problem. Since it's not a Jeep harness, we have no diagram to look at. Normally I'd guess bad ground somewhere, and the lights on is changing the ground path. Ie, the indicators/brakes are grounded through the running light circuit with the lights off, and powering the lights brings that circuit up to 12V, and the ground is lost. But that's a wild guess.

Re the OP gauge, could be bad wiring, a bad sender, or a bad guage, or an intermittent ground.

Thanks tim i think the ground is probably my problem. That has been the biggest challenge with wiring so far.

I feel like an idiot! The no turn signal when lights on was because I had them wired wrong. My signals have a 2 fillament bulb and one is brighter than the other. I had the brightest wired as parking lights.. therefore when the flasher or brake was lit you could not see it! A swap of wire on all signals solved the problem. I will attack the oil gauge tomorrow.

Looking at the 73 wiring diagram (oem) you should have an oil indicator light instead of a gauge? Is your stock or aftermarket?

An electric OP gauge was optional that year. The schematic should reflect that somehow.
