sm420 floor cover

    does anyone have any tips or pictures of how to fabricate a tunnel cover over the sm420 tranny in a cj5? Thanks

    a search should reveal a member who used a T400 auto trans pan if I recall, modified of course.

    Scott Milliner did something like that for an SM 465. I was thinking old baking pans could work as well as many have a flange with a rolled edge for strength and co
    E in all kinds of sizes. Some fab work will still be necessary

    I used a pan from a TH350 transmission.

    I used the bottom of a large ammo (50-cal.) can to fab one up.

    I used the side of a home AC unit to fab my T18 cover
