Would a '73 CJ5 with a 258 have had a fan spacer? Mine had an aftermarket 1-inch spacer. But a 1/2 inch seems like it would work better.

My 72 has a 1 inch spacer that appears stock. See Picture. I'm glad I checked this for you, I see I have a coolant leak. It looks like it's coming from the upper radiator hose, I tightened it up some and hope this will cure it. It's always something.

The postal I6 motors didn't have a spacer at all, but the way I understand it you want the fan as close to the radiator as possible without chewing up the radiator for the best cooling results.

Speaking about fan spacer for the I6 engine:
I need a thinner spacer from the "factory" spacer i have.
Do you know vendors who sell different sizes?
(i know that it is always possible to take it to the shop and make it thinner).
