Cowl vent screw size/type

    Just wondering if anyone knows offhand the size and type of screw to use for the cowl vent grill and that goes through to the under dash fresh air box.

    Looks like a #8 would work, but not sure of that or head type etc.

    The screws I have on the CJ and the JC are #8 countersunk chrome plated sheetmetal screws, phillips head reduced diameter about 1 1/4" long.

    Hmmm... I wonder if I can be up and running by then. I'm thinking simple shake down run up thru the Cohuttas or something with some Col. Pooles BBQ on the way back!

    Oh yeah!

    But it might not be a good idea to take two jeeps for their shake down run without a chase vehicle. :)

    Now that's the spirit! Besides, what could possibly go wrong?

    BTW that's possibly the nicest close up of a cowl vent I've ever seen :)
