    I have an interesting problem.
I'm replacing the oil lines on my F-134 out of a '64 CJ5A.

The line that runs from behind the fuel pump to the center of the spin on filter... what threads am I supposed to be seeing here?

There is a brass right angled fitting coming out of the block (behind the fuel pump) and it appears to be something like 1/8-27. That fits one end of the old line. The other end of this oil line appears to be a 24tpi thread... but the center of the oil filter boss again appears to be a 18/27.

Either I have some wrong parts, I've assembled things a bit off, or a previous owner loved to tap.

    Thanks.

P.S. ... next step... figure out how to reattach and adjust the three on the tree.

All the oil lines coming out of the block should be 1/8" NPT.

Going over everything, I appear to have ended up with a the wrong hose somehow.

How well do hose barb connectors/hoses work? I'd expect those lines to his 100 psi or more when its cold...

    Thanks.

No issues with mine in two years. as far as seeing that kind of pressure I am lucky to see 50 lbs in the winter,
Kaiser willys sells pre made hoses for these that are crimped at the hose ends.
I made my own using clamp less barbs and some hydraulic hose

You'll be better off to go to an industrial hose supply place and have them copy your lines with all new materials and ends. I had the sam eissue with the off-shore crap and I'm going to go the industrial route someday.

Personally, I would not use hard lines on these because the vibration will eventually work harden and crack the solid lines.

I ended up ordering from Walck's after a call to make sure about the threading.

I got a runaround from Napa (two different stores), a commercial hose place and a call into a different dealer. I'm looking forward to getting this thing mounted so I can get in some different trouble...
