Well ebay ittis got me bit. There was a dana 44 19 spline "lockrite" advertised and I bought it. It was removed for a 30 spline axle upgrade. I got a box of parts saying Yukon Gear and Axle YPKD44-P/L-19. :p

I found Yukon's web sight but no phone number or email. Also no description of a locker.

Anyone have an idea where I can get instalation instructions??

Let's see what my old friend Google can come up with...

Here ya go- Click Here- It is Highlighted as a Powr Loc Spider and Clutch Set

I'm guessing that he probably didn't ship it in the box that it came in if it is this listing- 7928153721

If it is a different listing, maybe you can link it, so I know what you bought.

If it turns out to be a Powr Loc, negative feedback is suggested...

Actually, they are owned by Richmond Gear now.

I think I just found your auction- 792919810

Here is the info from the auction-

"These are 19 Spline Powerlock internals for a dana 44 axle. Included are the side gears, spider gears, and clutches. Very Very lightly used, but in great shape."

If this was your auction, you bought exactly what he was selling, but unfortunately he was selling the internals to a limited slip diff. You would need to get a Powr loc housing for your gear ratio, and then install the guts. Not really worth it for a used LSD, IMHO.

That is exactly what I bought. Oh well, the nice thing about ebay is "if you list it, somebody will buy it"

I will put it up on ebay when I return in December from my vacation to Thailand. There were 4 other people bidding on it also.

Thanks for the info. The $78 I spent will not kill me.

I am installling a warn floater and larger brakes in this 66 CJ-5. I will wait until I return from vacation to continue this project.

Looks like I could just buy a 30 spline locker, and put it in, as the Dana floater is the same price with either spline. Seems to ba a greater assortment of lockers for the 30 spline. Any suggestions? I tow this rig and drive it mainly off road, but a few time a year I drive it on the freeway.

Yeah, I would just put it back up for sale.

If you get the 30 spline setup (And that's what I would recommend), I'm pretty sure you will have to get a late carrier for a LockRight, as the 30 spline axles won't fit the earlier carrier.

The carrier is fairly cheap and easy to find, though.

As for lockers, Jegs had the LR for sale for $209 a month or two ago...

If the clutches really are in decent shape, I'll probably buy them...

    I love this board!

I hope the ecj5 never gets too popular, 'cause everyone gets along so well here now.
