Anyone know the bolt size...

    That bolts the brake line splitter down to the rear axel tube? Or possibly where to source one?

    I used a self tapping sheet metal screw from the hardware store...

    Ahh good idea. Now though, what was the stock setup for the rear axel breather. What I though was the hole for the bolt down is acutally the breather hole for the rear axel housing as I can see the shaft on the inside.

    It probably is the hole for the splitter, the vent on a 44 is over by the spring mount on the driver side, usually covered in grime.

    I think it's 1/4" but it may be 5/16" it's been a while.

    I too used the largest self-tapping screw from the Home Depot. Maybe a 1/4" size? It was not a great fit.

    I think mine was a self threading body bolt off a ford car not really a drill point and yes the vent is on the other side...
