Mechanical advance curve kit

    1968 CJ5, Dauntless V6, Delco dist. all stock.
    I have a weak spring on the mechanical advance and trying to find a repair kit (springs, weights and bushings). Any ideas?

    I'm pretty sure that MSD, Accel, Moroso, Mr. Gasket, etc., all make kits for delco distributors.

    Used to be that any FLAPS would have a spring and weight kit (Mr. Gasket) for Delco distributors.

    Yup, the small one I used to work at always had at least one hanging on the wall. They were recurve kits, though I'm sure you could find one close to stock, if that's the direction you're going in.

    Also check Jeg's and Summit Racing.
    They are different depending on whether a points or electronic distributor. The kit typically comes with an adjustable vacuum advance as well.
