T.B.I. on a 225 ??

TBI on a 225, is that possible ? I know Holley's and Edellbrock's and other carb setups work, but was wondering if a TBI off of a 4.3 or simillar engine would work on a 225v-6 ?
I'm running a Rochester 2 brl and planing on keeping it that way, just curious.

 

Won't work without modification, if that's what you are asking. The 4.3L ECU expects triggers at even intervals, and the odd fire triggers are not. Plus you'll want to reprogram the ECU memory to have look-up tables that are better for the 225.

You could put a slotted wheel on the crank pulley and add an additional VR sensor to run the ECU from. Or you could run the Megasquirt ECU which can use the uneven trigger from the coil. Do-able, but not as easy as putting the 4.3L stuff on a 258, for example.
