T-14 Rebuild Instructions

I am looking for instructions on rebuilding a T-14 transmission in a 71 CJ-5 with the 225 V6. I can find instructions for the transfercase but have not seen anything for the transmission.

FSM or TSM (Factory Service Manual or Technical Service Manual) have that information and would be a sound investment.

that was all i found on novaks site under rebuilding. dont know about you but i think its lacking in detail.

Any of the '72-75 factory manuals will cover the T-14 in the CJ chapter. There is a '72 and a '74 manual online. The T-14 from this era is not interchangeable with the earlier T-14, but it is the same transmission.

If you want a step-by-step guide to rebuilding, with photos and such, like the T-90 has... there is none AFAIK. But the manual should be plenty of detail. The general process of rebuilding the T-90 and the T-14 is the same. You can read the T-90 guides to get an idea of what's involved, then follow the instructions in the manual.
