flasher/turn signal switch ?'s

    I cant believe you went out of your way (once again) to answer my silly questions.
    thank you o swami! (prostrates self in dirt)
    i just checked and i got a 2 pronger.
    but i can go get a 3 pronger.
    until then i will be fine with no indicator.

    Unclebill, My CJ has a Signal-Stat 900, and a two prong flasher, My indicator lights are wired in by splicing the indicator lights into left & right front wires your being the yellow & green. Maybe this will help.

    red is hot and white is low voltage hot black is ground according to the book

    This would be another option, but as I recall Bill has a turn signal switch with a single indicator lamp, so you'd need diodes to connect both front wires to this one indicator. If he wants to install separate left and right indicators, they could be wired directly to the front wires.

    Remember -- that on the two prong flasher there is a "LOAD" terminal that feeds a single wire going up to the flasher which does the routing to left or right lights. If this single indicator light does not draw enough to activate the flasher then your indicator wire could be connected to this load terminal wire. Just a thought.
