I found the ATV Mfg website (Herm the overdrive guy). Looks like this might be the way to go.

    1>
Herm sells the kit 2 ways set up for 27 spline hubs or 27 spline drive flanges. I think the drive flange set up is the way to go. Wouldn't I be constantly breaking hubs on the rear end when the only advantage to hubs would be flat towing? I do not have a gentle right foot.

    2>
Herm sell the kit as 19 or 30 spline. I am leaning toward a full spool so 30 spline would be required. Can I just swap a 30 spline Dana 44 spool in?

    3>
Since the axle is apart I should go to 11" brakes at the same time?

1> I run the HUBS, no issues with breakage, not light on the pedal either, but agree flanges are stronger.
2>I have 30 spline so that I can run OX lockers
    3>That or disks...

I run Warn Hubs with with a Detroit Locker, no problems. Seems for the price of Drive Flanges, I'd spend a little more money and get the HUBS.

I’ve busted both, hubs and flanges, but mine is the 27 spline version so I’m running Dana 30 gear on it. The 30 spline version is probably a little stronger.

30 spline is definitely stronger and you're going to have to go that way if you plan on running a spool.
If running a spool, I'd run drive flanges and don't use bolts to hold them on. Use studs and lock nuts to keep them from loosening up.
I run Warn Premium hubs on the back of mine and run hard but I'm not running a V-8 or spool either. I do run a mildly warmed up V-6 with a LockRight. I also don't side step the clutch or let the Jeep bounce when trying to navigate obstacles. I do carry a drive flange just in case I break a hub.
11" drums or discs would be a good investment while you have it apart.
You can put a 30 spline spool in your tapered axle housing. You just use the carrier bearings that match the spool as the 19/10 spline diff case uses different bearings than the 30 spline case.

my 1st son who is helping me work on the Jeep already put dibs on it. I told him when he buys his first house it is his.

I'm thinking I will need a 1970 240z with a VQ35HR swap for the 2nd son to build with dad.

Maybe a big block 66 Chevelle for son #3 to build with dad.
