Should I fill the holes in or not?

    Just rebuilt the carb on my 67 225. Should I fill those slanted holes in that are on the carb mounting surface of the intake? I could use JB weld - tell what you think

    Those slanted holes are to move heated exhaust into the iron base of the carb to aid in cold weather running. Even though I don't live in a super cold climate I still leave them open.

    you mean yours arnt clogged up with cabon? lol They dont do much just leave them open
