Ok So I posted last week, I could not start my amc 360. I had no spark at the plugs. So I put in a new points, condenser, coil, wires, and plugs. I used a dwell meter set at 30 to set my points. I now have spark at the plugs. I fired up twice and ran for several mins. I parked it and put it up for the day. The next day I went out to load it on my trailer, NO START again, So I check the spark again, and it is working fine it shocked the **** out of me. So I pulled the carb off nothing blocking the air way. I can push the accelerator pump in and fuel shoots down inside the carb. I have tried starting spray with no luck. I took the carb back off and looked down in the intake manifold and I can see fuel sitting down in the bottom. I cleaned that out, I took my plugs out and turned the engine over to clean it out, put it all back together and nothing. I pulled the cap of the dist, and it is spinning. I can't figure this out at all. I need to advise as to were to look next.

You may have an ignition voltage problem. Make you a jumper wire alligator clips both ends and connect one clip to the battery plus and the other end to the coil plus and crank. Note that in the crank condition you are firing up but when the key is returned to the run position it will die.

Remove the wire on the negative terminal of the coil. This will protect the points while you are playing around with the key in the on position. Not familiar with your model ignition switch but if it has a plug on connector on the back, sometimes just unplugging and plugging several times will help the connector make contact. A test lite is your friend here. If your ign switch can be easily dropped out of the dash so you can get to the back of it then do so. Test for ignition voltage with switch on that goes out to the coil. Some jeeps used a special resistant wire going to the coil and others used a ballast resistor. If you are using the ballast then use the test light to check for power on both terminals. You should have it on both terminals with key "ON".

thanks, I traced the wire back to the switch and found a break in the wire. I replaced the wire and she's running good now thanks again.
