i notice so far the sensus is rhe rancho 9000's. my only concern with those are they can be adjusted, but the procomps are self adj. plus they are quite abit more money. the whole adjusting knob just concerns me as far as how long will it last

I have Rancho 9000 on my dodge ram, with in cab adjust. Would i buy them again, yes, only because i change the load alot. When it comes time to buy shocks i will run Rancho RSX shocks,me thinks. just my two bits.

I'm very happy with my 9000s. I use the knob, didn't spring for the in-cab mount. I've been running these shocks since 1996, haven't broken a knob off yet.
I really like being able to adjust for street/highway conditions (setting #3)
heavy load (#4 or #5) and soft/flexy for offroad trails (#1)

I run rancho 5000's in front and BDS shocks in the rear. Everything seems to work fine, but them again I'm not an expert in being able to tell the differences between shocks.

    Erik,
I just bought knobs for my Rancho 9000's. they are only $5 a piece at 4wheel parts. Let me know what size shock you need. I bought a pair off of ebay to go with my spring over conversion, but they were just a little short, so I had to buy a different pair, but they might work for you. I will have to get the measurements and model#

i just got off the phone with a local guy and he said he uses a foam charged shock not gas or something like that. he says the gas charged ones if run offroad alot can foam up and loose theri viscocity. this guy does not sell shocks so its not a sales pitch. ever hear of this before?? i looked into the "foam" charged ones and they are about the same price, and they claim very good offroad and on road performance
