Anybody running them? How far around the back of the tub do they go? I want to order some of the smooth ones, but would like to see what they look like on a CJ. Pics would be great..

    Thanks

I think they go around to the edge of the tailgate. I met those guys on the Rubicon many years ago, looks like they do good work. Sorry no pics.

i put them on my 73. They were the smooth style. they go to the tailgate. If i remember right i even had to trim a bit off by the tailgate to get them to go flush. I mounted them with recessed hex head bolts and then welded and ground them smooth. I also used seam sealer all the way around them. After paint you cant even tell they are there unless you look very closely at the seams.

Dang, Mike you do some good work. Wish I had the time to half the things to SwampThing ('74 CJ6) you did to your jeep.
My dad (81 years old) was in the hospital for two weeks recently due to a medical emergency. My sister flew in from the west coast to help me get some things in order so he could go back home (as opposed to assisted living) once he got out of the hospital. Between work & taking care of my dad's stuff I haven't had a second to devote to working on SwampThing. It looks like SwampThing will be on the back burner until winter or spring, but the good news is I'll be clearing the junk out of my dad's workshop (42'x72' building) which will give me the indoor room to get somethings done over the winter.

Well they aren't answering the phone, after 10 or so rings it goes to fax. I will e-mail them and see if they get back to me. This sucks, those were the only panels I was considering.

I had a local metal fab bend some smooth sheet steel and I just cut the ends were I wanted them. They are 1/4 inch with sunken stainless bolts. Cost me $60 bucks.
