hello and a ?

    hello new to the form.
    I have a question about a 12v starter for a 4cly m38a1cad willys. it is a 54,
    the last owner started to change over to 12v but they left the 24v starter on it.
    where can I find a 12v starter to pt on the engine????
    does anyone have one they would sell me? or can i buy a new one someplace?
    any help would be great thanks

    thanks for the help. I tryed the search tab thing and as usual for me I get nothing... I ask for what I want but a search will only look for words that i search for and I do not speek computer or anyone elts langauge for that matter i think because I can never find anything in any search on the great big WWW... lol
    I am going to see if i can find a toyota starter..
    nice list of jeeps yuo have their..
    I can not wait till I get my 360 amc into my 68 5 that I have ...

    cant use that at all. after about 4 or 5 times of saying the samething a different way and comming up with nata, nothing, 0 I could send the pc out the window and go postal on computer inputers as they do not speak my language.. anyway
    I found a toyota starter the first place I called... thanks

    If you can find a good electric motor repair shop, they should be able to re-wind your starter for 12V and likely save you some $$. I've had some starters re-wound from 6V to 12V.
