I have a 68 CJ5 and I would like to put in a bigger radiator. Does anyone know if the grill from a 72' or later CJ5 with the V8 radiator will bolt up to my 68' fenders, chassis mount and hood? Thanks for any advice.

The grill will fit with some modification. This topic was covered in a recent thread.

Search in this forum for "grille swap" and "intermediate grille" for additional relevant threads.

If you install the V8 grill, the V8 radiator will fit in it. The radiator outlets may not be in the right place for the V6 though.

I had my stock 71 radiator repaired and re-cored to a 2 throw for around $250. Its good as new now.

You might consider a Flow Kooler water pump in lieu of a bigger radiator. I had my stock radiator for the Dauntless recored and use the water pump and my temp is fine in Texas weather. I also put in a Flex a Lite fan, but some don't like them.

They also do 3 core, but I wanted 2 wider cores rather than 3 smaller. I'm sure price had something to do with it.

Your location would help if asking for a grill as it isn't practical to ship one.
