Thanks to everyone for their help. I finally got everything working. I guess it goes to show you, you shouldn't assume POs knew what they were doing. Haha. Thanks again to this great site and its members:p

    Hello,

I'm trying to install a turn signal switch on a '55. I have the same diagram as below on the back of the box - where is the "flasher"? I can't find a fuse panel anywhere on the Jeep. Is it hiding from me?

    Thanks,
    Carrie

    '55 wouldn't have a fuse panel originally.
The wiring for the turn signal would have a socket in it for the flasher.
What brand of turn signal are you installing?

The turn signal is an Everlasting, part number HL-101.

    Thanks.

FYI - I started a new thread for my question in the "Early" forum. Thanks.

I've got mine wired up. For reference this turn signal setup is designed to use a 3 terminal flasher. The blue wire connects to the "P" (Pilot) terminal on the flasher (so the indicator light on the turn signal box lights up). The black wire connects to the "L" (Load) terminal.

You can connect the "X" terminal to either 12v constant, or keyed, depending on whether you want the hazards to work with the key off (my choice).

I'm using the EZ-wire harness. It's setup for a 2 terminal flasher, so I'm wiring the 3 terminal flasher in separately.

Thanks for the info - you have great timing! I have a flasher on order and it should be here soon.
