    Yup, they are a little "finer" teeth, but the same would apply.

    Yup, my old driver door top ended up kinda like a "hillbilly" zipper............................

    silicone spray won't leave a build up, clear, dries fast
    does not attract dust, dirt as mentioned elsewhere here

    soap is the way to go I think...used it many times on alot of different tops, no build up problems

    I use canning paraffin, it's clear, it doesn't stain and when it rains the paraffin won't disolve.
