    Okay I've given in ...Does anyone know where the oil pressure sending unit in a dauntless is ?

    To the rear from the oil filter on the side of the block, in front of and above the motor mount bracket.

    I checked it out, and low and behold ,(if it's right behind the filter housing ) is about a 4" fine thread bolt threaded into the block.that ought to be fun to re-tap...
