Looks great and you're making good progress. I think the earlier black Renegade II decals would help tone down the green alot and give a nice nostalgic look. Keep up the good work!

Being unique is what it's all about. I think the color is awesome. I agree with the black Renegade stripes. Shrek might be a fitting name, as well.

Stripes are in the future!!!!!! I guess I could name it.............let's put it to a vote!!! I'll use what the majority says!!!

Can we use voting buttons in a thread that's already started?

    On the list:
    1. (I was thinking) Limey
    2. Shrek (or Ogre)
    3. Grinch

The late '60's and early 70's Mopars that camr in the Lime Green color also had Argent colored accents on the shaker hood scoop, etc. I like that combination.

Lookin like Shrek may be the name!!!!!

Updated progress today. I bought a powder coating system from Eastwood and did some brackets today. Should be able to see the windshield hinges, talgate hinges, backseat pivot hinges, and the fresh air intake from the cowl. I also had an old railroad spike I found int the yard when we dug the footes for the house. It cleaned up good too.

Does any one know if you can do 2 coats of powdercoat? I think I want to put a clear coat on the hinges.

Yes you can with the eastwood hobby gun.. with selected colors and proper procedures. I have done it myself. But, if you are thinking of adding another coat on top of what you have now, I dont think it will work. Your powder coating looks good.. what color is that on the hinges ?

The hinges are coated in Eastwoods Reflective Chrome. It's not real
chrome(y) looking but darn close. Looks more closer to the stainless that's everywhere else on the jeep.
