I'm not worried, the key is to use a rolling pin when it's just past tacky to flatten it out a bit. Plus it hides the ugly well.

Just lazy mostly, but I didn't realy see a need to do it.

The Jeep now has two gallons of herculiner on it, one on the bottom and one on top. Still need another quart for the insides of the front fenders.

It sounds much better in person. The best thing is all my ebay parts (carb, intake, HEI, etc) are working just fine! Today I need to bolt the seats in, install the drive shafts, pedals, ans steering wheel to get it mobile enough to drive onto the lift in the body bay.

The passenger side is now in primer, drivers should be done tomorrow, then paint next week. I still need to do some welding and filling on the fenders and hood, before they are ready for paint. I am going to stray from original an add flush mount LED's for tail lights.

As usual, my planned schedule was wishful thinking. The Jeep has been hibernating since September, but I started working on it again last week. Body wok on the tub is 100%, all in primer. Need to finish to body work on the hood and prime it, then start on the fenders.

I also need to start putting it back together. Got to install the windshield frame, tail gate, button up the wiring, mount the passenger seat, and all the little stuff. I'm just going to take it easy and peck away at it a bit, still too cold and too much salt on the roads to drive it yet anyway. I'll be happy if it's good to go by May. I'll post some updated pics in the next few days. I need to work on it before it gets too nice out and I pull out the 930, or I'll never finish :)

Here's a couple of the 930, it's an 87 with 52k in carmine red. Are you on Rennlist or Pelican?

Yeah, I need to undue a few things the PO did. For the most part he did well with the fikse's, headers, B&B exhaust, K27, B6 IC, etc. You're sc is sweet, black is my favorite, but 930 shopping can be slim pickings.

I'm actually considering retrofitting a steering column from a chevy cobalt complete with electric power steering assist and tilt. I think I can graft it on to the existing shaft and used the ross box. Anyone have any comments on this?
