It is a 1967 cj5 with a 231 buick v6, three speed tranny still have to verify which, dana 18 x-fer case, 1974 wagoneer axles, 8,000# warn winch, electric fan w/ cutout switch for water crossings, 33x12.50x15 mudders, some odd flat-dish rims, and apparently a newer windshield (single wiper bottom mounted.) As far as how I acquired the jeep it's really quite simple. A friend of mine mentioned wanting a blazer so he could carry more gear with a wife and two kids. I mentioned I had a 1979 blazer that had been sitting for sometime but fairly intact he looked at the blaze I looked at the jeep thoroughly dissassembled and we traded about 1 month ago. I am just about out of little projects to keep me off the road so wish me luck.

I think the only requirement is mudflaps here, and actually I assembled in about 3 days just working out bugs now. I did mechanic professionaly for about 10 years. I am currently retrofitting powersteering and reworking what it had for a rollbar, I need to be able to fold the windshield down and be just about a foot taller than the seats so it will fit in my toyhauler for dunes runs.
