Should fit the front frames of the 72-86 cjs are very similar, you may have to drill a few holes to get it to bolt up. Other than that is a simple install.

I have talked to him, He is a young man that just got this CJ5 72 and is in the process of fixing it up and personalizing.

What I think he is really looking for is a heavy duty bumper that will support a winch. He also said minor fabrication is not a problem ether, so it does not have to be a direct fit/bolt-on...

but in the end it has to be able to fit dimension wise.

Do any of you guys out there have any options for him?

Better yet, anyone have any pictures?

    thx...

O, and he does not like the tube bumper look.... He more likes that Smitty look.... big solid front bumpers for pushing ricers off the street... lol

Can he weld? Get some plate and make one. That's about the only way you'll get one like an XRC. Besides why pay $500-$700 or more for a weekend project that can be done w/ less than $100 in steel.:v6:
