    Thanks for the info! Sorry about the old thread. I was looking for answers and came across it. My dauntless has close to 80,000 miles and I've been running 10w30. I'm a little afraid to change. But, I would like for it to be around for another 80,000 miles!

    I think there was another oil thread on here somewhere because I changed over to 15W40 awhile back. I didn't see any difference but since I read it on this forum I knew it must be the best thing to do....
