Broken Transfer case gear

    Well, I broke it. Not sure how, but the deed has been done. There were two teeth in the transfer case pan and they appear to be off the intermediate gear. I am not sure what it is called, but the gear that goes to the driveshafts is scarred up a bit too. It is a '71 CJ-5, V6 Dauntless, T-14 tranny and a D-18 transfer case. The vehicle comes to an amazingly quick stop when one of those gears gets caught in the mix!!!!!!!!

    Has anyone found/tried a low range kit for the D-18? If so, what are your thoughts, recommendations?
