Been reading about the fuel tank relocation and decided I am going to do that when I reassemble my rig. But the question is what is the best way to cover the old fuel filler area? Just weld a patch over it ? Any othe ideas or pics of how to make it look kosher. Keep in mind I am a rookie at body workmehh.
    thanks gang

I'm going to relocate mine to the back with a racing cell during the "build" I'm planning. Should just be able to weld a panel in and clean it up so after paint you can't tell it's gone.

I'd leave the indent and just put a small patch over the hole, or look at Boinks site, he added a water tank under the seat.
