I got her running finally this weekend and just hearing that little 4 banger fire up was sweet! R)

Thanks guys. It definetly looks a little tougher now. I am thinking about a small lift shackle just to give a little more clearance...Any reccomendations on a certain brand?

    Thanks.

The Daystar shackles are the nicest I've seen....

    Great looking wheels!

    What's the backspacing?

I bought these wheels from Summit Racing @ 39.95 ea.

Here is the PN# Part Number: CRR-3975855

It's listed as 4" of backspacing.

I looked for the Conn-Ferr shakles, but I haven't been able to find them. The Warrior and the Daystar both look like good alternatives though...Thanks for all the feedback. I love the new look of this Jeep. I can't wait to actually drive around the 'hood!

I had the Warrior, and have seen the Daystars...
The Daystar are much nicer IMO.
I just put on a set of the Performance Products shackles, and they are about the same as the Warriors. Problem with the Warriors is the square support in the middle of the shackle rusted almost completely away after ~10 or 11 years...

Standing tall, Looking good. I was looking for some early fender flares like yours, without the marker light cutouts, are they new? Also like the handle on the side of the windshield, have something similar to help my dad get in my Ramcharger. Do you know what model it came on? Is it the same shape, only shorter than the dash grab bar? Thanks

Sorry, I've been a little busy lately and haven't even gotten a chance to get online in the evening.

The handles on the side of the windsheild are very similar in shape to the dash grab handle. They have some type of old padding that is just like the padding on my steering wheel...it's dried out and falling off.

I could take a close-up of it if you want.

My A1 won't be street legal, but I'd like to see your jeeps. Keep me in the loop!

My junk isn't street legal yet either..but once it's actually driveable we should get together and find some trails.

Do you know anyone locally that does body work or builds cages?
