I have a 1954 M38A1 I am working on converting to a 1955 style CJ-5, and I have the civilian oilbath air filter but I do notknow where to secure it, the military one is long gone, and I have my battery secured on the far right side firewall. I cannot seem to find any good pictures regarding this. Any help would be great, thank you

My son's 62 has it on the passenger side, probably where you have your battery.

Could you possibly post a good picture of the air cleaner as to where and how it is mounted? Thanks Mike

This is mine from a while back. I now have a second battery tray
to the left of the air cleaner. I can get a couple more pictures if
    you need them.

On my 68 CJ5 used by the USDA the oil bath filter was mounted on the passenger side fender. It also had a plate to renforce the mounting area.
