A quick thank you!!! 1971 CJ5 Project

    Well, we came a long way in a fairly short time. I would like to extend a thank you to everyone on the forum here. Without places like this and helpful people like you guys this project would have taken a lot longer and been a hell of a lot more difficult.

    Kids named her "Cotton":p

    And almost forgot to mention. She is officially "Trail Rated":beer: My wife and I took her up to the Rubicon Trail this past Saturday to make sure all was in working order. After a short run up to Ellis Creek and Bugle lake I will say this. My hats off to the old timers that did the trail back in the day with these stock rigs. My forearms are still sore!!! After wheeling so many years in a fairly built rig this really brought the challenge back.

    Did we talk? Good meet, good turn out, finally picked up the correct rims for the Jeep. Sandblast and white paint to come:)

    Looks good, really glad my 71' has power steering, especially after running the Rubicon with Don X last year. That guys must have arms of steel!
