Who me?? I'll try to swing by the local shop I used. I'll ask him to call his supplier or give me their contact info.
Give me a couple of days to check it out.

You might see if a parts store can cross reference it or try an internet search in the meantime.

I didn't get to it last week and they are closed on Saturday & Sunday. Need some more time.

    FYI - Here's the mc listed at NAPA for a 1971 CJ5:

I've noticed that the two hole mounting face looks to be fairly standard on a lot of these. If your set on getting the bracket from Herm, I'd suggest you go ahead and get the bracket in hand and then take it to your local parts store. Then just select the mc that meets your needs for price, reservoir size and/or disc/drum and see if the holes match up. I have a feeling if your use any of the mid CJ model master cylinders, they will match up.

If the holes don't match up - see my previous post and pictures about the bracing I added. Cover it with a thicker plate and drill new holes.

That one is designed for drum brakes, and you'll have to pull the RPV out of the port for the front brakes if you are going to run discs up front.

I did not mean to imply that the master cylinder shown in the link is the one to use, only that I have a feeling that there are many (off the shelf) applications available that will fit the Herm bracket. Thanks.

my main concern would be with rod travel meaning when i push on brake pedal will it push the plunger far enough on a possibly longer mc, or am i over thinking this whole thing.

i went to herms web site and there are photos of installations using his kit and one of the mc's look exactly like one for a 71 cj5. i think thats the one i will use. thanks all for your input.

It could be an issue. It was with my Wagon. I had to make a longer one. Note that it was not just a matter of making the threaded portion longer, the thinner plunger part (with the ball shape on the end) needed to be longer to make sure that the threaded (thicker portion of the rod) does not bottom out on the master cylinder.

I'll can mark up a picture of one if the way I worded that is confusing.
