I am tired of the door blowing into the mirror when I open it.
I went to the hardware store and bought some bolt on hooks, straightened them out and cut them off. Bolted them to the existing bolt for the lower door hinge on the doors with the existing nut, then threaded the top hole and put a bolt in and tightened it down against the door frame, like a set screw, to keep the "post" from rotating. I also got the chrome footman loops which are almost identical to factory Jeep footmans, they're about 3/16" longer. Attatched those to the tub with some 10/32 stainless screws and nylock nuts. The straps are made with some buckles from some old back pack straps, so that I could adjust the length... They seem to work like a charm;)

Oh, and the nylon strap was used to hold some struts I installed a while back in the collapsed position before installing. This stuff is the same width and thickness as the straps on my bikini top. Couldn't throw it away at the time, but I didn't know what I'd use it for.. I'm sure I'll find something else on the Jeep that needs some red nylon strap...;)
