I just cut the fenderwells back about three inches sorta like the boyink link above shows and then put the left one on the right side and right one on the left side inside out and I can easily slide my Honda seats back to the point it's almost a stretch to reach the pedals. I can take pics tonite when I get home if you're interested.

Ok, here are some pics. Keep in mind that the body that's shown here is on my hunting jeep and I use it first for all my mods like the legroom issue, adding power steering, a SM420 tranny overdrive etc cause waiting in the wings is my good body that's ready to go when I've made all these changes so I don't have to patch a mistake on the good body. Sorta live and learn. Also you probably and rightfully so, think that the tires hit these things when you hit a bump. I have 33 x 10.50 x 15 tires on 8" wide rims on a Dana 44 and even at full stuff, they have never hit these bump-outs. I have Holbruck springs with 3" shackles. When the tire comes up from hitting a bump or flexing, it also moves back towards the rear and they miss these things. When painted on the good body they'll disappear. The pics on the inside show how deep the seats can slide back. I cut the top of the back fenders back 5" to make these. In reality, 4" is probably enough.

Thanks for all the help.I started the mod on Friday, allmost done. Now I need some seat slides. The other cool thing besides lots of leg room is the seat will recline way back for those quick naps out on the trail.
