day 1 and 2 of 67 rebuild *teardown*

Figure id add some pics of the "new" jeep project going on in my neck of the woods. Of course it started to rain on day 2 and we are expected to get 4-6 inches of snow over this weekend which sucks. anyhow heres some pics of the progress. hope these pictures attached work

just south of chicago, ya the tub is all effed up, the frame doesnt seem too bad, fenders are rough rear bumper fell apart because of the rust, but the rest seems in decent shape. also came with 4 extra rims, anyone looking for a set of rusy white rims can come grab em if they want. im in the works of getting a dana 30/44 from a 76 cj5

 

Hmmmmmm might be worth the trip, my next project will be a CJ-6 but the rims that are on it now are ruined. po towed it with loose lug nuts, and destroyed the rims.

they arent going anywhere, i plan to (when the weather isnice) start srcubbing some of the rust off to see how bad they are, maybe ill even throw a new coat of paint on them, it will keep me home and out of the bar!ha

 

What are the specs on the project? Year? Drivetrain? Plans for it?

 

its a 67 with the f head d18 t90 the plans are to see how rough the vehicle really is, and turn it into a putter around town. Mainly its just something fun to do over the summer for me and a buddy. Hopefully we can get her going b may or june. If it turns into too much work, then we sure will have a gigantic mess in my driveway for a while
