I have heard some of the guys have put the box behind the cross member on the side the tthe motor mount is on. I Just did mine but I put it up front behind the bumper. Keep asking there is not many of them done that way.

Which winch? I have a Koenig model 100 on my CJ5 with saginaw ps, it fits with an extra inch or two, but then again mine is all custom mounts. I will try to find a picture this evening showing the spacing.

If you mean a Ramsey or something else I do not know about that.......

I have a Koenig winch. I shifted the winch to the pass side to make room for the saginaw box. I will try to take pictures for you.

It will fit, I think. I have a copy of a Ramsey winch and power steering on my 67 CJ5. If your winch is 1/2 inch wider than mine, then there might not be enough room, but my winch is pretty wide.

    Here is a picture....
