I have a 70 cj5. I'm missing the bar that bolts to floor for the passenger seat. Does anyone have a picture and/or height from the floor( top pf tool box) to the top of the bar.

    Thanks!

Mine is 4 3/4" from the top of toolbox to top of bar. It is another 1" to the center of the lugs that the seat mounts/pivots on.

I would also like to know if my speed instrument gauge is original??? I saw a pic of a '69 and the Fuel & Temp markings are complete opposite of what's on mine.....In otherwords" The "E" on the fuel gauge is at the top & the "F" is on the bottom??? same with the temp gauge....kinda weird.....what is on your gauge???
I give up trying to put a pic on this thing.......here is my link: http://my.att.net/p/PWP-MagMotor

You're instrument cluster is a later replacement for the original.

    Magmotor,
Went to your website and looked at pictures. It looks like the tool box door can't open? Is that true?
Very nice additional shot of "it's cold in here" Gotta comment on that. Is it just a generic picture or are you very lucky man.

Same setup as on my '71. Plenty of clearance once the seat is folded forward.

    Tom,
The box top completely misses the bar, it just hits the underside of the seat for quick entry but when the seat is folded foward you have complete access.

    Sparky,
So I take it the original is just the opposite of what I've got...huh..... [IMG]
