Do any of you guys know where a man can get some of the rear corner protecters/covers for a 75 model cj? I would like to get them without any holes cut in them preferrably in a unpainted steel.

Off your rockers is a small company created by Dan Duffy, in Half Moon Bay, Ca.
I used to work with him many years ago. He is a craftsman who dosent care about *cutting corners* to make 50 cents.
He is the anti-thesis of "big buck, low quality, big hype" producers that sell to "jeeps be us, 1945 - 2004, any product you want as long as it is euro tail lights and big brush guards with a ten volt winch.
He will make, by hand, the item you order, and guarantee it is the best, and when you call, you will talk to Dan Duffy, the guy who owns the company and who will make your guards.
First class all the way. No weasel hyena marketing, post dot com loser.

    Try www.4wheelparts.com

I just bought the CJ5 full wrap around and it is an outstanding quality part. They got it in one day with no shipping. I'm pretty sure they have stores just about everywhere. They're about $95 according to their site.

Not trying to rip the little guy by the way, but there seems to be a big price difference.--Rob

    Those are aluminum, not steel.

The company that they come from , WP Warrior products, also offers them in 12 ga steel. I'm sure if you asked 4x4 could get them for you. Not sure if there is a price difference though.--Rob

I just got my corners back yesterday from the shop that made them for me local. They are made to fit to the tailgate open to the wheel well opening from the bottom lip of the body to lip where the hardtop rest made of a 3/16 steel. Shop charged me 80 bucks to make me a set of them. If anyone else needs something like this tell me and I might be able to get a better buy on more sets now that they have made a tool to make them with.

Anyone know how to get in touch with odee? I'm about to start some body re-working and I just checked the prices on those corners. Ouch! 80 bucks sounds good to me!

Do the corner guards look better than body damage? I'm not sure...

I think so, but only if they're painted. I don't like the shiny ones...(just preference, having had them for a number of years).

I recently decided to put the steel ones I had on Dutch on SSDutch - between some body cracks, overzealous CB antenna mounts I'd like to remove, the original tire carrier holes, and wanting to put in the rear gas tank and side fill the corner gaurds are just the easiest route.

But they'll be painted body color, so not so immediately obvious.

I'm hoping to get some smoothie steel corner guards with no holes in them so I can put my lights where I want. I'd want to paint them the same color as the body although right now they'd have to be rusty with patches of brown, green and white to match the tub...

All though I think Jim said the diamondplate was shiny enough.

I went to my local steel supply and bought a sheet of 1/8" polished aluminum diamond plate that was 48" x 36" for about $30. I should be able to make corner gaurds and rocker gaurds and have some left over. (cheaper alternative).
