Question: Where can I get a set of bolt on, blow-up shocks or air bags to fit my '80 CJ5 with a 4" lift kit? The're for the times I hook up to my trailer with extra tongue weight.

How much tongue weight are you talking????

I had my 4X6 trailer full of rocks and the Jeep squatted some, but nothing too bad. Plus, the fenders on the trailer were barely off the tires.

The suspension is not the limiting factor when it comes to towing with a Jeep. It is braking and general getting pushed around.

    Yeah,
When I did that with mine I drove really slow to a co workers to dump the rocks in a washout. I wasn't getting pushed around too badly, but did notice it a lot when braking.

Our jeeps aren't meant to tow much.

I'm well aware of all your tips. I just don't like to see my Jeep sag in the back---I like it level. Right now I have 450 lb. of cement in back to help it up my driveway this winter. It's not level (the driveway or my Jeep)! Also, my trailer has brakes on it. Back to my original question---any answers?
