I have a bad D44 rear and am planning to replace it with one from a FSJ. When I do this I would like to match the front and rear with the full width axles. To fit the front I am planning to move the springs outboard but for some reason I am having trouble picturing the final result, does anybody have pictures of a completed outboard setup?

    Thanks,

Thanks!!! That is exactly what I was looking for and nothing like the picture in my head. I like your way much better than the ideas that I had so far.

The only issue i had with doing the outboard is the front driver monut with teh intermediate style power steering. I had to nootch out the angle iron that went on the sie of the frame to clear the bolts. If you are doing the later saginaw with the crossmember on top then this wont bea problem
