Weekend Project - Tire Carrier

    This is the result of being bored this weekend while my wife had to work. Spent 24 bucks on the scrap steel and used a 30 year old stick welder of my father in laws that would only work on 115 amps.......so don't laugh too much at my welding, heck..go ahead, I would too. Anyway, it works well and now I can take my spare with me.

    The tire covers the big welds anyway. :)

    Thanks guys.....unfortunately, the worst of the welds was the one most visible but like you said it's hidden behind the tire. If the old saying of "The bigger the gob the better the job" is true....It will last forever!
