Straightforward tire question. Need a straightforward answer.

    Will 7.50 x 16 NDTs mounted on a stock 16" Willys Truck rim fit a bone stock 63' CJ-5 without rubbing, etc.? The truck is a 20K mile bone stock CJ-5. No mods. Please post pics if you have them.

    Yes and no.
    I allways had the rear rub at full flex.

    Yeah, I'd like to see pics too. I'm thinking that would be a good look for my stock '65 although my rims are the orig. 15" size.

    Don't they all rub the rear inner fender? I know that mine all did/do.

    I had 6.50-16 Grip Spur's on stock CJ-5 rims, fronts would rub on the springs at full lock. Too many leaves in the rear to flex, much less rub. I would check backspacing on the truck rims to see how they compare to the stock CJ wheel, may not be any difference. Grip Spurs have a really big outer lug, more pronounced than a NDT so you might get away with it. HTH
