    Hi everyone,
I got a 1967 CJ5. I am slowly fixing up all the details that it needs. I got one question though. The steering is very sloppy and I have narrrowed it down to the gear box. I've looked at many places for one and cant find one. Any ideas??? Help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    Welcome,
where in AZ. Is the steering worn or just loose? I tightened mine. Try it first, if that won't work it is worn.
Look at the steering box, you will see a bolt with a slot in it and and a nut over it, loosen the nut and adjust the bolt, be sure to check the steering wheel.

In Yuma, I already tried that and it had little effect. The shaft coming out the steering box is loose.
