Do any of you know how many different colors the Golden Eagle was offered in. I only recall seeing brown and white. Was there others?

As far as Know it was available in White, Black, and brown. I have seen green ones but I don't think it was an original color. Of course I could be wrong.

Mine is what they called Mocha Brown which was a very nice metalic brown. when I had it repainted back in 1990 the paint we used was not availabe in the factory color so it is a tad darker. When I get around to redoing it again I'm going to be sure they can match the original color.

I think the other brown color was called "Oakleaf Brown". To my eye, one is a medium brown, and the other is a lighter color, maybe the "Mocha" you referred to. That metallic brown, whichever was the lighter of the two colors, is really a striking color in person with the hood decal and gold spoke wheels.

The Golden Eagle was offered in white, gold, green, metallic brown and black. I used to have a company that reproduced all of the decals for the AMC era CJ's. I was going to reproduce the Golden Eagle decals but found out that "Austin Jeeps" onwed the copyright. They reproduce all of the Golden Eagle decals, their quality is outstanding and the owner of the company is a stand-up guy. . I eventually sold my company to them. Check out goldeneagle.com for their stuff
