    What year did Jeep switch to the bullnose? was it 71 or 72?

    '72 along with most of the other major changes AMC made to the Jeep lineup.

    I was just wondering. Me and a friend of mine got talking at local mud bog about a Commando that was running. Thay are running it as a 71,it has the older nose on it. He's running it in street stock class. They are allowing him to run a 304 in it. He's thinking contesting that because it was not a factory available engine.
