Lookin for winch pix

    I am going to fab a mount for my Hickey winch I bought a while back. It is identical pretty much to the Ramsey RE winches. I'd like to see a few pix of mounts on other Jeeps, so i can get some ideas. thanx in advance for any help

    Thanx! the Hickey winch I have is identical to yours, cept my solonoids are loose for remote mounting.

    That looks like the Ramsey winch that was available as a factory option on 76 and later CJ's. One heavy mudder!

    Anyone have experience with Black Mountain winches from Collins Bros. ? At under 500$ they seem like a hell of a deal.

    Thanx 80Cj. That is what I needed to see pretty much. Could you give me a detail shot of the motor connections? What size plates are you guys using?

    Really?!...all i really know is it came with my jeep for a grand, its a ramsey and it pulls like hell. Looks identical to the RE8000, though all the markings are worn off. Anyone have any history lessons?:):beer::beer:

    My solenoids are in the passenger side box under the bed. I don't like to mount electrics on the front in the weather.
