MB grilles & 3a grilles

    new to the forum. just wondering if the grilles on an MB and 3A are interchangeable.

    I believe they fit, but the headlight mounting is vastly different. I presume you know the grills look different, 9 v/s 7 slots. Cat eyes on the WWII grills.

    MB has much smaller headlamps, and they are 6v bulb/reflector units as compared to the '3A sealed-beam lamps.

    I did this on my 2A but like the guys say, you need to use the MB headlamps too, which swivel around to shine in the engine bay, what a great idea?.
    I also used the MB split windshield frame on mine which also fits, thats the great thing about these flatties ;)
