I like that bumper. Mine's all bent, and have been looking at replacements. Looks like you're going to put a CJ speedo in (?)- Haha- my wife likes the CJ dash better because " it just looks cooler than your commando" Guess you feel the same way

What do you think about the mud terrain BFGs? I was looking at them for my CJ in 31-10.50- but wondered if they had enough "bite" in mud.

BFG's are the mud tire of all time.:)
So many to chose from hard to say I guess.
For street / dirt combo though the BFG's are hard to beat

On the dash I am putting in a second glove box.
And yes I am using a CJ 7 speedo and 2 more gauges.
And all CJ 7 new switchs too.

I noticed one night that from the back the dash is symetrical.
I hated the square speedo so relized a second glovebox would look cool and it morphed from there.
It will be an access to a fuse block.

    Thanks for the compliments.
I am pleased with how it sits.
Took some thinking to get it right and it just came together.
The back is stock springs axle over and the front is BDS rideglides 3.5 with 1 inch shackels spring under.
I just put in F350 shock towers but no shocks yet.
Planing on 9000 ranchos so I can make it stiffer for street lean.

The front axle is from a CJ7 '82

The seats are ford but not sure which model they said they were Exploder's but not positive.
I am taking the air bags out and they are power both for 17.00 very comfortable.:)

Looking good, I dig the dash. I never cared much for the stock Commando guages and switches. The speedo cluster is the same as the fullsize Wagoneer/Gladiator trucks of 71 and earlier vintage. I really didn't like the stock setup for switches with a cheesy light to illuminate them from above. The CJ speedo is just classic and looks right at home in a Commando dash.
